New York
Applying to the National Children's Chorus in New York is a two part process:
Audition: An appointment with one of our directors to meet the candidate and finalize which NCC ensemble s/he will fit most successfully. Auditions for the NCC consist of vocalizing to test for range and intonation. Above all, our directors are interested in assessing raw skill level, personality, and existing vocal technique.
Final Interview: A telephone conversation with the Executive Director to confirm all other details about the applicant and review the logistics involved in chorus membership (schedule, performances, tuition etc).
Application Fee
There is a $45 application fee, which covers the entire application process (audition and final interview). Audition appointments are confirmed only
when the application fee has been received. All application fees are nonrefundable.
